Participatory Photography refers to projects where participants are supported to generate their own photographic work.
As a facilitator, Luna Pérez Visairas has worked with many groups of people with different needs. The aim is to support them to define, communicate and improve their situation through creativity and visual arts. The act of learning photography and turning the lens onto one’s life or context creates opportunities to explore and communicate issues, while the resulting photographs can be powerful and versatile tools for advocacy.
